Manut Services has supplied and installed a new lifting structure with a hollow profile bridge at a client facility in the Sénonais area of France.

The new installation, designed to handle capacities of 2 x 500kg, features a supporting framework and lifting equipment from Verlinde Lifting Equipment.

The project included a 6.7m-tall support structure, anchored to the ground on four feet and fitted with follower bars to allow modification of the hollow profile.

This framework supports a set of hollow steel profiles of the STD II type, also provided by Verlinde Lifting Equipment.

The installation also incorporates two articulated single-girder rolling beams, with one beam rated at 500kg and the other at 250kg. Both beams have a span of 6m.

The structure’s lifting equipment includes a Verlinde VX5 508 B2 electric hoist with a 500kg capacity, mounted on a single beam.

The second beam is equipped with an electric hoist previously owned by the customer.

Headquartered in Monéteau, Manut Services is an authorised Verlinde after-sales service centre.

The company provides sales, installation, and maintenance of lifting equipment for clients across Yonne, Loiret, and Nivernais.

Its activities include troubleshooting, modernisation, regular maintenance, and legally required inspections of lifting accessories from multiple brands.

Manut Services’ product and service range includes hoists, gantries, overhead cranes, and related lifting system accessories.

Founded in 2000 in Seignelay, the company has expanded its service coverage to facilities across the region, from Auxerre to Orléans and Nevers.

In April, Manut Services carried out a full upgrade of a 5t Verlinde overhead crane from 1973 at a client site in Yonne, France.

The work included the installation of a new Verlinde VF5 HPR trolley, updated supply and control cables, and the replacement of the crane’s existing travel cabinet.
