MONAJ has carried out the installation and commissioning of 56 JASO Industrial Cranes at Hitachi’s new factory in Zaragoza, located in the Aragón region of Spain.
The project, completed in recent weeks, marks one of the largest single-site installations of new units for MONAJ involving a multinational client in Spain in recent years.
The deployment of these cranes is considered by MONAJ to be a significant milestone in its operations.
MONAJ said the installation’s scope and scale highlight its responsibility to meet the quality and service standards expected by international clients such as Hitachi.
MONAJ is the official distributor and service partner for JASO Industrial Cranes in Aragón.
Based in Zaragoza, the firm supplies and maintains lifting and load transport systems with a particular focus on overhead cranes and hoists.
Its portfolio also includes fall protection equipment like lifelines and harnesses, as well as generator sets sold and serviced through a partnership with Electra Molins.
The company highlights its long-standing collaboration with JASO Industrial Cranes, emphasising over three decades of experience in the sector.
JASO Industrial Cranes, a division of the JASO Group headquartered in Spain, designs, manufactures, and maintains a range of industrial cranes, including electric overhead travelling and gantry models.
The company reports more than 50,000 crane deliveries to clients in over 50 countries since its founding in 1965.
JASO employs over 350 people and operates six manufacturing sites across Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and India.
Last week, MONAJ and JASO installed two transfer carts with capacities of 40t and 60t for Megasider, part of the Megasa Group, at a production facility. The transfer carts are designed to facilitate the movement of heavy loads between production buildings and to improve material handling at floor level.
Last month, JASO Industrial Cranes completed the installation of four overhead cranes at the facilities of CARVISA Container, part of the Eurocontainer Manufacturer Group, in Remolinos, Zaragoza, Spain.
The project involved supplying and installing two cranes with a 32t lifting capacity each, along with two additional units each rated for 10t.
