UK-based material-handling equipment provider Lift Safe has supplied its 01B2P Counterbalanced Crane to a bearing manufacturer located in the South East.
The equipment is intended to enhance material-handling processes at the plant, with a focus on improving safety and efficiency in limited workspace environments.
The 01B2P Counterbalanced Crane features a powered lift and lower jib arm, which allows for easier positioning of loads.
The device uses an electro-hydraulic system powered by a 12V 110A battery.
Operators can control lifting actions via a pendant progressive lever. An emergency stop button is included as an additional safety feature.
This piece of equipment is designed to support a safe working load (SWL) of up to 200kg. It includes a manual jib extension for greater flexibility and is built with fixed front wheels to promote stability.
Rear rotating castors equipped with a brake system enable precise movement during operation.
The crane holds a CE mark and comes with a SWL test certificate, demonstrating compliance with established safety requirements.
According to Lift Safe, the machine also aligns with EN standards. The 01B2P is reported to be suited for a range of industrial and manufacturing settings, particularly where space constraints are present.
Its key specifications include a 360° swivel column, a maximum overhang of 1270mm, and a maximum height of 2850mm.
Lifting is electric with a single speed, while lowering offers adjustable and proportional speed controls. The boom includes four manual positions.
Lift Safe describes itself as a supplier specialising in materials-handling equipment, with a range that covers electric work positioners, stainless steel lifters, scissor tables, ATEX-rated lifters and roll handlers.
According to the company, its products are designed to assist clients in meeting manual handling and health and safety obligations.
