Carl Stahl has completed the installation and commissioning of six light crane systems from SWF Krantechnik, equipping a workshop with the ProfileMaster plus ST platform.
The project involved providing a lifting solution tailored to the workshop’s requirements, with each system capable of handling payloads up to 2,000kg.
The installation included two extension cranes designed to reach up to 1,700mm into neighbouring areas.
This design feature aims to facilitate the movement of parts and components across different workspaces, supporting internal logistics and the process of equipping machinery.
One challenge during the project was addressing the limited room height in adjoining spaces.
To achieve maximum hook height within these constraints, the crane bridges were elevated and adapted to fit existing structural conditions.
This approach enabled full use of the available space while maintaining operational functionality and ergonomics.
According to SWF Krantechnik, the ProfileMaster plus ST is a modular workstation crane system that allows for flexible planning, rapid initial assembly, and simplified future modifications.
The system uses coordinated components, as well as optimised suspensions and connections, enabling users to configure or modify set-ups based on operational needs.
