ABUS Levage France has completed the commissioning of a new lifting solution for a customer, aimed at easing daily load handling and enhancing workplace safety.

The project was delivered at the customer’s site, with the equipment developed to contribute to smoother workshop operations.

The company, based in Nancy, provides a range of lifting equipment and support services.

According to ABUS Levage, the new system is designed to both facilitate the movement of heavy loads and improve safety measures in daily activities.

The firm expressed appreciation to its client and project partners for their involvement.

The company also acknowledged the support of sales engineer Benjamin Remberg during the project, and noted the contribution of its technical teams throughout the installation process.

ABUS Levage France is the French subsidiary of German manufacturing group ABUS Kransysteme.

The subsidiary has operated since 1986 and specialises in supplying and installing a variety of lifting devices, such as overhead cranes, jib cranes, HB systems, light gantry cranes, hoists and winches.

These products are produced at three German factories, meeting industry standards including those set by the European Materials Handling Federation (FEM) and complying with CE requirements.

Lifting solutions provided by the company accommodate capacities ranging from 100kg to 120t.

In addition to delivering custom systems, the business offers services covering product selection, installation, assembly, commissioning and maintenance.

ABUS Levage France’s equipment is used in a wide range of industrial settings. The company maintains a focus on supporting workshop operations and complying with established safety and regulatory guidelines.

In April, ABUS Levage France installed and commissioned an ELV single-girder overhead crane with a 2t lifting capacity at a winery located in Maury, Department 66, France. The crane was configured to address particular lifting and handling requirements identified at the site.
