Nigeria-based Nivafer Engineering and Construction has received seven Demag overhead cranes following an equipment supply and installation project with APT International.
The delivery also included a Lexus 400t press brake from IMAL, a Griesheim Omnimat L 6000 CNC plasma system from Messer Cutting Systems India, and a sandblasting machine.
These new machines have been installed to support Nivafer’s operations within Nigeria’s industrial sector.

APT International, which handled the procurement and installation, operates from Belgium, maintaining locations in Deinze, Oudenaarde, Zulte and Kluisbergen.
The company focuses on the purchase and sale of used metalworking equipment, maintaining a stock of approximately 2,000 machines across more than 50,000m² of storage.
Its business model includes supplying refurbished machinery to a global client base and promoting reuse in the industrial sector.
Nivafer Engineering and Construction provides steel fabrication and erection services.
The company works with clients in the oil and gas industry and other sectors requiring structural steel works.
With operational experience spanning four decades, Nivafer manages various engineering and construction projects within Nigeria.
The latest installation aims to support the company’s ongoing activities in domestic industrial development.
In March, APT International completed its equipment delivery schedule to Dugardein-Desutter’s new facility with the dispatch of the fourth overhead crane.
This latest shipment concludes a series of deliveries fulfilling an order intended to support the company’s operational requirements.
