ABUS Levage France has completed the installation and commissioning of an ELV single-girder overhead crane with a 2t capacity at a site in Department 66, a winery in Maury, France.

The customer operates within the sector for equipment rental and sales for construction activities.

According to the company, the newly commissioned crane was configured to meet specific operational needs related to lifting and handling at the location.

ABUS Levage France said: “A big thank you to our client for their trust throughout this project. Thank you to our partners for their involvement and the quality of the exchanges.

“Congratulations to our teams for their professionalism and mobilisation at every stage!”

The installation is part of ABUS Levage France’s ongoing activities supplying and fitting various lifting solutions, including overhead cranes, jib cranes, HB systems, light gantry cranes, hoists and winches.

The firm supports customers in the selection, installation, assembly, commissioning and maintenance of lifting equipment, which covers a range of capacities from 100kg to 120t.

Established in 1986, ABUS Levage France functions as the French branch of German manufacturer ABUS Kransysteme, with its headquarters located in Nancy.

The lifting systems are manufactured across three German facilities to comply with FEM regulations and CE standards.

Earlier this month, ABUS Levage France installed and commissioned a 10t ELK single-girder overhead crane with a 14.5m span at a boilermaking facility in Dordogne.

The equipment was supplied for a customer involved in metal fabrication to assist with handling operations on-site.
