Nucleon Crane Group, a Chinese crane manufacturer, has delivered a 10-ton single-girder overhead crane and a 5-ton overhead crane to Maputo Port in Mozambique.

The cranes were specifically designed and manufactured to align with the architectural specifications of a new factory building belonging to a Mozambican client.

The client intends to use the cranes for lifting equipment weighing eight tons and three tons, respectively.

The new workshop measures 20m by 50m, with a span of 18.5m and a lifting height of 8m. The cranes are equipped with remote control systems for enhanced operational efficiency.

The LDA electric single-beam crane, chosen by the Mozambican customer, is a light-duty lifting machine suitable for capacities ranging from 1 ton to 20 tons.

It offers a span of 7.5 to 31.5 metres and operates efficiently in temperatures between -25℃ and 40℃. The crane’s hoisting mechanism is compatible with single-speed CD1 and double-speed MD1 electric hoists.

This type of crane is commonly utilised in factories, warehouses, and material yards for lifting goods, although it is not suitable for environments with flammable or explosive corrosive media. The crane offers two modes of operation: ground control and remote control.

In a separate development, Nucleon Crane Group recently delivered two 10-ton overhead cranes to a client in Kazakhstan. These cranes were designed according to the client’s specifications for a new factory, featuring a span of 19m and a lifting height of 9m, with a travelling length of 45m.

The production process for these cranes was completed in 30 days, after which they were shipped to Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The single-girder overhead crane, compatible with CD1 or MD1 model electric hoists, is a light-duty crane suitable for capacities ranging from 1 ton to 32 tons and spans between 7.5m and 31.5m.
