Skyline Lifting and Safety, a UK-based technical testing and analysis service provider, has announced the successful operation of its new temporary overhead crane system in London.

Installed on Grey’s Inn Road for WellMax Scaffolding, the crane system was designed by Skyline Lifting and features equipment supplied by GIS Lift Turn Move.

Skyline completed the project despite challenges due to tight tolerances and timelines.

The crane system offers several benefits, including a total lifting solution operated through remote control, the ability to lift loads across the crane’s full working span, and a reduction in manual handling.

It also provides a cost-effective solution for the client, with a safe working load of 1.2 tonnes and a working area of 18m by 6m.

Skyline, in a LinkedIn post, said: “The system was designed from top to bottom by Skyline Lifting and Safety Equipment, supplied by Robert Price from GIS Lift Turn Move Ltd.

“This was a challenging project with fine tolerances and an even tighter timeline.”

Established in 2008, WellMax Scaffolding specialises in providing comprehensive scaffolding solutions and aims to meet all access requirements for its clients.
