Nucleon Crane Group, a manufacturer of gantry cranes and overhead cranes, has shipped a five-ton European-style single-girder overhead crane to Poland.

The crane has a safe working load of 5 tons, a span of 16m, and a lifting height of 6m. It operates in Work Class A5 and features dual-speed lifting capabilities of 0.8/5 metres per minute.

The cross-travelling speed ranges from 2 to 20m per minute, while the crane travels at 3 to 30m per minute, both controlled by variable frequency. The power source is 380V, 50Hz, 3-phase, and the control mode is wireless remote control.

Earlier this month, Nucleon Crane Group completed the delivery of a 20-ton double girder electric overhead crane to a newly established warehouse in Qatar. The crane is engineered to transport materials across workshops, warehouses, and material yards by utilising the available airspace.

The crane’s design features two primary beams connected rigidly to end beams. Wheels are installed at each end of the end beams, enabling the bridge frame to function on a viaduct. The main beams are equipped with welded tracks, which allow the hoisting trolley to move efficiently.

The LH Double Girder Overhead Crane boasts a lifting height of 10m and a span of 13m. It is operated using a wireless remote control and falls under the M4 working class category. The main beam structure is adaptable, offering options such as box-shaped, four-truss, and hollow truss configurations.
