Water Weights, Inc. has announced the opening of its newest location in Abingdon, Maryland, just 20 miles north of Baltimore.
The new facility will cover the northeast region of the USA and Canada.
Water Weights was founded more than 20 years ago offering proof load testing for lifting equipment from small workshop hoists to massive shipyard gantries and barge-mounted cranes. The company name comes from the water-filled balloons that are used as test weights. Over the years, the company has expanded to a wide variety of associated engineering services and product development.
The opening expands Water Weights’ North American operations to six divisions covering the West Coast, Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Gulf of Mexico, Southeast and now the Northeast.
