Vinalift has completed the installation of a trolley system within the 200-ton gantry crane at Ba Son Shipyard in Vietnam. This announcement was made by the Vietnam-based company through a post on LinkedIn.
The trolley, a fundamental component of the crane system, was specifically designed and manufactured by Vinalift. It incorporates high-quality parts from internationally recognised brands, the company said in the post.
The gantry crane has a lifting capacity of 200-tonnes. It can raise a load to a maximum height of 33m, with speed ranging between 2m and 0.5m per minute. The travel speed is adjustable between 18m and 5m per minute.
It also has a double hook featuring 360-degree rotation, a hydraulic brake, and inverter control.
Ba Son Shipyard is one of Vietnam’s largest ship repair facilities. The shipyard houses 14 workshops, catering to various customer needs, including hull repair, engine servicing, and system maintenance for ships.
Vinalift was established in 2006. It specialises in designing, manufacturing lifting equipment, and non-standard steel structures.
Earlier this month, Vinalift delivered two explosion-proof JIB cranes for an offshore energy project in East Africa.
The company also installed two outdoor gantry cranes at a precast yard in Bangkok, Thailand. The scope of works included two 150-tonne double-girder gantry cranes with a 40m span and two 25-tonne gantry cranes for auxiliary lifting tasks.
