Vietnamese company Vinalift has shipped five double-girder overhead cranes to a steel plant in South America.
The cranes, designed for the metallurgical sector, were moved from Vinalift’s manufacturing site to MIPEC Port, where they will be shipped to the client abroad.
Built to adhere to strict safety and performance standards, the cranes are equipped to function reliably in demanding environments.
They have lifting capacities ranging between 10 and 40 tons and were transported domestically using specialised semi-trailers.
In May, Vinalift finished installing four single-girder overhead cranes at Vietwalk’s Song Cong location in Vietnam. Each crane, with a capacity of 5 tons, is customised for specific spatial and operational needs.
Features include a single hook, a runway length of 240m, a span of 20m, and a lifting height of 5m. The cranes operate on a 400 Volt, 3-phase, 60Hz power supply and have a control voltage of 48 Volts.
They are designed according to FEM 1.001 standards and are classified under duty class 2m. The cranes can be operated via remote control or backup pendant options and are suitable for temperatures from 0ºC to +40ºC. Each crane weighs 5.5 tons.
Vinalift is engaged in the production of lifting equipment and steel structures in the mechanical engineering production chain.
