Easy and quick to assemble, the so-called Eurosystem Alu handling systems are 50% lighter than their equivalents in steel profiles, regardless of whether simple rail equipment, single-girder cranes or double-girder cranes are concerned, according to Verlinde.
Eurosystem Alu stands out through its ease of assembly, it added. “First of all, the lightness of the hollow aluminium profiles allow positioning and easy handling for assembly. They can all be moved and positioned manually without any specific lifting equipment.”
It explained that the elements are simply bolted together, as well as the systems fastening to the load-bearing structure, and no special tools are required.
