Toyota plans Brazilian engine factory
29 August 2012Asia’s biggest carmaker, Toyota, will build a USD 495M engine factory in Brazil aimed at increasing the plant’s capacity to satisfy local demand.
The new Sao Paulo facility, spanning approximately 870,000m2, aims to produce 200,000 engines a year, is expected to begin production by the second half of 2015.
