Terex Noell wins Bangladesh straddle carrier contract
5 April 2010Terex Noell is to deliver six diesel-electric straddle carriers to Chittagong Port Authority (CPA), Bangladesh.
The straddle carriers offer a 1-over-3-high capacity and are part of a drive to modernise CPA’s existing fleet of mechanical straddle carriers.
CPA already operates six rubber-tyred gantry cranes delivered by Noell Cranes five years ago. Terex acquired Noell Crane alongside Fantuzzi in 2009 to grow its port equipment business.
