Inter Product has developed a lifting clamp designed for thin sections of steel plate. The IPTU clamp has been designed to pick up, transport and turn large pieces of slender steel plate which would buckle when lifted with a regular clamp.
Two models are available, depending partly on the dimensions of the plate and the number of clamps applied. The variant model, the IPTUX, has supporting profiles on both sides of the clamp.
Both types feature a universal hoisting eye to lift loads in any direction. They have a jaw aperture of up to 15mm and come with a working load limit of either 1,500kg or 3,000kg.
Inter Product has also now made available its IPSC clamp in North America. This product is designed for pulling and positioning steel plates and beams. It comes with working load limits of 1.5t and 3t.
