RiConnect, a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, has expanded its global distribution network by adding Tiger Lifting UK.
RiConnect is advancing the digitalisation of compliance and traceability in equipment management through the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology.
By integrating RFID chips, the company enables users of lifting and other equipment to efficiently manage pre-use checks and unique identification numbers.
Transitioning to digital systems enhances the precision of maintenance, safety inspections, incident documentation, and regulatory compliance, facilitating seamless information exchange.
Among RiConnect’s offerings are Digital Product Passports (DPPs), which align with the European Union’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
Tiger Lifting, a manufacturer of manual and pneumatic hoists, clamps, and winches, is set to supply RiConnect’s complete SaaS suite. While headquartered in Taiwan, Tiger Lifting operates facilities in the UK, North America, and Singapore, with a sales office in China. A new site is expected to be announced soon.
The company employs over 100 people globally. Tiger Lifting’s products now feature RFID chips compatible with RiConnect’s Compliance Management System, reinforcing a business model that builds a robust network of regional RiConnect agents.
The collaboration with Tiger Lifting highlights the adoption of RiConnect’s Compliance, Traceability, Status, Net Zero (CTSN) concept. This partnership underscores RiConnect’s role in streamlining compliance and traceability processes for equipment management.
