Nigerian firm PPI revealed that it has successfully completed the fabrication and installation of a custom monorail gantry system aimed at improving material handling efficiency in a high-demand production setting.

This new system is expected to enhance the movement of heavy components along the production line, minimising downtime and manual labour, thereby increasing operational throughput.

According to PPI, the scope of work involved various stages such as structural fabrication of the monorail support frames and beams, precision layout using alignment tools, and the installation of an electric motorised trolley system.

The company, in a LinkedIn post, said that certified professionals handled welding, rigging, and mechanical assembly, ensuring a seamless integration of electrical systems with full testing and commissioning.

The project highlighted PPI’s capabilities, which include in-house design and planning expertise and skilled welding and fabrication crews. It also demonstrated accurate onsite installation supervised by quality assurance teams and comprehensive electrical and mechanical integration.

Additionally, the company is said to have maintained full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the process.
