Alliance Scale of the USA has developed a range of portable rod weighing scales that can store, weigh and transport up to 5,433kg of rod, bar and tubing up to 7.6m in length.
Called Alliance Rod Weighing Scales, the product is a portable rack that eliminates the need to load and unload rods, bars, and tubes several times, says Alliance. They feature a built in function scale with a digital weight indicator and a sealed multi-function keyboard which can be manufactured to customer needs.
The scales are powered by a rechargeable NiCad battery and use single point load cells for applications up to 1,814kg and shear beam technology for heavier loads of up to 5,443kg.
