Nucleon Crane, a Chinese crane manufacturer, has finalised a deal with a Peruvian client to supply overhead cranes for upcoming projects.

The agreement involves the provision of a single girder overhead crane with a 10-ton capacity, a span of 20m, and a lifting height of 6m. The crane’s travel length is set at 45m.

Shipment of the crane, along with 90m of rail and a 45m bus bar, is scheduled for dispatch to Callao Port, Peru, within the next 30 days.

The HD model crane adheres to international standards such as FEM, DIN, and ISO, showcasing its robust design, minimal dead weight, and efficient energy use. Key features include high-quality electrical components and the ABM/Nord triple gear motor, which combines motor, gearbox, and brake into a single unit.

The crane is equipped with a galvanised wire rope, a self-adjusting disk brake, a hard tooth reducer, and a programmable lifting limit switch, making it suitable for various industrial applications, including manufacturing and material handling.

Earlier this month, Nucleon Crane exported a 10-ton single-girder overhead crane to a client in Macedonia. The Macedonian customer required a crane customised to meet specific operational needs.

Following a series of technical discussions and adjustments, the client ordered a European-style single-girder overhead crane. Nucleon delivered a 10T HD model with a lifting height of 5.5m and a span of 10.75m, featuring a dual-speed hoist with lifting speeds of 5/0.8 m/min.

The crane operates on a 380V, 50Hz, three-phase power supply and offers remote and pendant control options.
