Nucleon Crane has introduced its latest model, the QZ double girder bridge overhead crane equipped with a grab bucket. This specialised crane is designed for tasks such as loading, unloading, stockpiling, and reshipment, utilising the grab bucket as its primary spreader.
The QZ model is categorised as a heavy-duty crane, available in working levels A6 and A7. It boasts a rated lifting capacity ranging from 5 to 25 tonnes. The grab opening direction can be either parallel or perpendicular to the main beam, offering versatility in operations. The crane’s capture device features a four-rope grab with a double drum, ensuring a simple yet reliable operation.
The end beam, a crucial component of the crane, is connected to the main girder using bolts and nuts. This design facilitates easy transportation and installation. The main beam is constructed from welded steel plates and I-steel, utilising a one-off forming U-shaped groove technology.
The crane’s electric control system is built with a high-strength frame, welded from high-quality profiles. The frame is lined with fire, heat, and sound insulation materials, while the interior decoration is crafted from medium-density boards and aluminium plastic plates or thin steel plates. The trolley incorporates heat-treated carbon steel gears and precision needle bearings, enhancing durability and reducing friction for longer lifespan.
Operators can control the crane either from a modern cabin equipped with air conditioning or remotely, minimising exposure to harsh environments and enhancing safety.
The QZ model consists of four main components- the box-type crane bridge, the crane travel mechanism, the crane power electrical device, and the grab. It is important to note that the lifting capacity accounts for the dead weight of the grab, ensuring accurate load handling and safety in operations.
This new launch by Nucleon Crane aims to offer a robust solution for industries requiring efficient material handling capabilities.
