Nucleon Crane Group has introduced an Explosion Proof Hoist, engineered for use in environments with flammable and explosive risks.

The hoist adheres to international explosion-proof standards, including IECEx, ATEX, and TR CU, ensuring safe operation in explosive gas or dust settings.

Key components such as an explosion-proof motor, flameproof electrical system, and sealed structure prevent spark leakage.

The hoist’s modular design allows for customised configurations to meet various spans, lifting heights, and environmental conditions.

The Explosion Proof Hoist is suitable for single or double beam cranes. It features a light dead weight and compact size, is made from high-strength steel, and comes in various colours including blue, yellow, and black.

The hoist uses wire rope for lifting, with a height range of 6 to 30m and a lifting capacity of 0.5 to 16 tons. Voltage options are available to suit different requirements.

Recently, Nucleon dispatched a five-ton European-style single-girder overhead crane to Poland. This crane has a safe working load of 5 tonnes, a span of 16m, and a lifting height of 6m. It operates within Work Class A5 and offers dual-speed lifting at 0.8 and 5 metres per minute.

The cross-travelling speed varies from 2 to 20m per minute, and the crane itself travels at speeds between 3 and 30m per minute, all controlled via variable frequency. The crane operates on a 380V, 50Hz, 3-phase power supply and is managed through a wireless remote control system.
