The SJ6832E RTE is a four-wheel drive that offers 45% gradeability and a 16-hp AC brushless electric motor as standard.
According to the manufacturer, the new model has been built on the same chassis as the company’s existing diesel and dual fuel 68RT units, which help simplify operator and service training
"The learning curve is pretty much nil for this machine," added Brad Boehler, president of Skyjack.
The manufacturer said maintenance costs and time are also cut thanks to the RTE owing to the elimination of servicing air filters, fuel filters, oil filters, oil changes, belts, and coolants.
The machine features foam-filled non-marking tires, near-zero noise levels, zero emissions, and also a tight turning radius that is claimed to make the transition from outdoor to indoor projects simple.
It is also equipped with optional auto-levelling outriggers that allow elevating on uneven grades. The machine’s generator can be manually controlled from the platform or programmed to come on automatically at 50% battery capacity.
