The BCS Series is described as an "economical solution" for overhead material handling and weighing applications and pitched at users in the infrequent use category.
Dave Nicholls, general manager at Arbil Lifting explains: "The BCS Series of Electronic Crane Scales fill a gap in the crane scale market for cost-conscious purchases. Not all users requiring a crane scale will be using them day in, day out and these scales offer the perfect combination of quality and price for these infrequent use users.
‘We pride ourselves on only stocking leading products and these scales still fall into this category. The scales aluminium casing makes them water resistant, the swivel hook and latch makes load connection easy and secure – and with an adjustable brightness screen, along with remote control, the scales offer the ability to work in multiple areas both safely and conveniently."
The scales feature an elongated upper shackle, which means they can accommodate thick hooks and also include an internal rechargeable battery that enables the user to store and charge of the scales at the same time.
Brecknell’s new scales have a list price starting from £380 excluding VAT and are available in 1000kg, 3000kg and 5000kg models.
"With a customer base spanning the whole of the UK, it is vital for us to be able to offer whatever it is that our vast customer base requires. With our team dedicated to bringing new ideas and products to the market place, we are able to do just that," Nicholls adds.
Arbil has branches in the West Midlands, Coventry and Bristol that support nationwide sales, service, testing and hire of a diverse number lifting and rail products. And for a business that both produces and sources a vast range of specialist lifting products, staying ahead of the competition in a wide number of sectors is key.
