Monocrane 2010 (Monocrane), a New Zealand-based company specialising in cranes and hoists, has installed a 5-ton, 23m span single girder overhead crane.
The installation was completed with a focus on safety and efficiency, highlighting the expertise of Monocrane’s team. The project was executed smoothly, resulting in client satisfaction.
Monocrane director Hitesh Shah, in LinkedIn post, said: “We extend our gratitude to everyone involved, including our client, the transportation and access equipment partners, the safety inspector, and the management team. Your cooperation and professionalism were essential to this success.
“This project also highlights our ability to provide tailored solutions. Beyond designing and manufacturing cranes and other lifting products, we handle complete installation and offer nationwide servicing to support our clients’ needs from start to finish.”
The crane features several unique design elements. These include full penetration sub-arc welded bottom flanges, which enhance strength and fatigue resistance, and line bored one-piece end carriages for precise alignment and smooth travelling motions.
The crane also has tapered girder ends, allowing it to utilise roof space effectively, ensuring high clearances and maximum lift heights.
Additionally, Monocrane offers Hyperspeed and i-Glide technology as options across its range. The cranes are finished with high-quality enamel paint, with optional 2-pak or client-specific systems available.
Monocrane provides design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of both standard and specialised lifting solutions. The company operates across New Zealand’s North and South Islands and extends its services to remote locations in the South Pacific.
