MDM area sales manager Tan Suh Yong said that the five-ton cranes will run 24 hours a day and seven days a week and therefore need to be extremely reliable, according to the MHE-Demag in-house magazine the eMackerel.
MHE-Demag has also won an after-sales service contract on the cranes.
