Lloyds British wins crane servicing contract

Lloyds British, a provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, has won a new contract with British water company Severn Trent Water.

As part of the contract, Lloyds British will provide independent statutory inspections and crane servicing over a three-year period.

Lloyds British said: “We will be supporting Severn Trent to best serve their customers and communities. We are trusted to deliver on our commitments to enable Severn Trent to achieve this, and we will continue to work in partnership to always achieve a positive outcome together.”

Lloyds British has been providing testing, inspection, maintenance, certification and training services for the lifting services industry for more than 200 years.

The company was acquired by UK hire provider Speedy in December 2016.
