The scope of work required to be undertaken by the Lloyds British team is to oversee the full maintenance programmes and repair of lifting and work equipment which includes: winches, vehicle lifts, traffic barriers, scissor lifts, safety lines, mobile lighting towers, forklift trucks, overhead and dockside cranes.

In addition to this, Lloyds will be providing full maintenance and repair services for approximately 800 industrial doors.

“By carrying out maintenance and repairs, Lloyds is able to keep unexpected future costs to a minimum, whilst keeping all equipment and sites running efficiently, which is of major importance to any MOD establishment,” the company said.

The contract will be overseen by Tim Musselwhite and the Lloyds British team based in Plymouth.

Lloyds British annual turnover is now in excess of £24m and the organisation, which is over 200 years old, employs over 300 people within its 12 UK outlets, as well as operating overseas.
