
Lifting Systems has completed an upgrade of overhead cranes for Burnetts Manufacturing, enhancing the lifting capacity from 5 tonnes to 7.5 tonnes.
The project, delivered within three weeks, involved replacing track beams and columns and designing a pedestal-mounted overhead crane.
The upgrade was tailored to accommodate Burnetts’ new machinery requirements.
Lifting Systems, in a LinkedIn post, said: “When Burnetts Manufacturing Limited needed a new crane system fast, Lifting Systems delivered — from stock, in just 3 weeks.
“All tailored, all in-house, all on time — ready for the arrival of their new equipment.”
Burnetts Manufacturing, a specialist in technical rubber moulding, produces between 70 and 80 million battery components annually.
