Lifting Equipment Store announces new MD
12 December 2022Lifting Equipment Store (LES) has announced a change of leadership that sees George Dunn step up from the role as general manager to become managing director of the UK business.
The company said he will lead the business and its team into the future, “continuing to deliver growth and achievements through his dedication to success and robust vision for the company”.
Dunn said: “I am incredibly proud and honoured to be performing the role as managing director for LES. I’m excited to take the company to new heights with the great team we have.”
He will replace Will Dunn, who will become a board member having been the CEO. Will Dunn, George’s older brother, departs the UK business to continue growing Lifting Equipment Store USA, which is located in Houston, Texas.
“The whole LES team would like to thank Will for everything he has done for not only the business but also on a personal level,” said the UK company. “It has been a real pleasure working under his guidance. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
George Dunn added: “I would like to thank Will for all his commitment and dedication over the past decade, building the foundations for everything LES. I am eager to steer the ship for its next course and cannot wait to shape the next chapter of Lifting Equipment Store here in the UK.”
LES supplies lifting, material handling and safety equipment. It says its sales team has more than 30 years of experience in the lifting industry and can be contacted for sales advice, product help and general enquiries.
