Ingersoll-Rand has designed its new Liftchain LCA hoist with lubrication-free gear-type air motors to reduce maintenance needs.
The compact and modular Liftchain LCA series, available in capacities from 1.5t to 25t, claims a high starting torque and no exhaust pollution. Ingersoll-Rand’s field tests have shown it to be suitable for 100% duty cycle applications.
Aimed at heavy industries such as oil and gas, mining and construction, the hoist features limit switches built into its body and integrated exhaust mufflers.
The working pressure range is between 4 and 7 bar, and low air consumption is claimed. Various suspension modes can be specified, including hook mounted and combination models with motorised trollies, for beam widths up to 310mm.
