Konecranes has been selected as the crane partner for Tokki Engineering and Fabrication (TEF), an Indonesian fabrication engineer and a subsidiary of TOKKI.
TEF, an expert in manufacturing welded pressure vessels and sheet metal components, aims to enhance its operations in Indonesia with Konecranes’ material handling solutions.
The company has installed several CXT overhead cranes at its facilities, aiming to boost productivity while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
The Konecranes CXT overhead crane features a CXT wire rope hoist attached to a durable, multipurpose crane girder structure.
With a variety of girder configurations and 10,000 hoists sold globally each year, the CXT crane is a leader in medium-heavy indoor lifting equipment.
The CXT overhead crane, with a capacity of up to 80 tons, is designed for reliability and safety in industrial settings.
Its adaptability is highlighted by the space underneath, excellent hook approaches, and Smart Features that ensure safe and easy operation.
Konecranes, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Several CXT overhead cranes have been installed at TEF’s facilities, helping enhance productivity while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability.
“We thank TEF for placing their confidence in Konecranes and look forward to supporting their success for many years to come.”
Last month, Konecranes installed a new 5-ton CXT crane to enhance the operations at the Geraldton facility of Abrolhos Steel, a Western Australia-based steel distributor, as reported by Industry Update Magazine.
The upgrade is set to improve reliability in handling and dispatching steel products, including plates, hollow sections, and sheets.
The new 5-ton single-girder CXT electric overhead travelling crane, features a span measuring 18m, covering the entire width of their steel storage shed.
It facilitates the lifting of various steel components, such as rectangular hollow sections (RHS), steel plates, and pipes, both for storage and for loading onto trucks for delivery.
