A French citizen, Boyer has held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and general management within Carrier Corporation, a division of the US-based United Technologies Corp.
In recent years he has successfully managed several of Carrier’s commercial refrigeration operations in the Nordic, Netherlands and EMEA areas. Before that, he led the commercial expansion of Carrier’s truck refrigeration business in EMEA.
Prior to joining Carrier, he was responsible for marketing and various industrial functions at PPM, the mobile crane division of Groupe Legris Industries. Boyer is 46-years-old and is a graduate from HEC, France.
“We can see exciting growth opportunities in the EMEA region, and we will now be in a better position to take advantage of these with a president leading the way,” said Lundmark.
He added: “Pierre Boyer, being half-French and half-British, and having significant professional experience also in Germany, is well suited for this multicultural job.”
