Konecranes Hellas, the Greek unit of the Finnish crane manufacturer Konecranes, has unveiled the S-series overhead cranes featuring synthetic rope in Greece.

The S-series cranes reflect a significant advancement in industrial overhead cranes.

Its synthetic rope offers several advantages, including durability, cost efficiency, safety, and reliability.

The crane also contributes to enhanced productivity by extending the equipment’s lifespan and reducing replacement frequency.

Konecranes, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Revolutionary Innovation in the Greek Market: Konecranes S-series with Synthetic Rope already delivered.”

“At Konecranes, we proudly introduce a breakthrough in industrial overhead cranes: the S-series with synthetic rope – now available in Greece.

“With the S-series, Konecranes leads the way in innovation, bringing safer, smarter, and more efficient lifting solutions to industry.”

Recently, Konecranes launched the X-series industrial crane, which features a compact design and wireless upgrade capabilities.

Building on the company’ existing CXT model, the X-series is equipped with Truconnect Remote Monitoring and adapts to evolving customer needs.

The cranes offer key insights into crane usage and operations, allowing businesses to optimise the maintenance schedules and enhance safety and productivity.

The Konecranes X-series crane comes with a low-headroom hoist, featuring smooth, stepless lifting and load-dependent motor functionality.

The crane incorporates a Design for Environment (DfE) approach to minimise environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.

Furthermore, its optimised design, including synthetic rope and guide rollers, enhances performance and extends lifespan while reducing maintenance needs.
