Konecranes America expands services
4 July 2012Crane manufacturer Konecranes acquired Ameratronic Industries of Portage, Indiana in June.
Ameratronic Industries is a Northwest Indiana crane and hoist service firm.
It has been in business for at least 17 years, operating in the process duty market, and decided on the recent change of ownership as its owners retire.
Konecranes is taking on five Ameratronic Industries employees at its nearby branch, located at 1255 Erie Court #B, Crown Point, IN, 46307.
Vice president and director, Konecranes region Americas, Service, Bernie D'Ambrosi said, "We're very excited about this acquisition and we look forward to continuing the high standard of service that Ameratronic Industries has established."
