“This technology has been proven in our chain hoists series, and results in reduced maintenance costs, with no additional air lubricant required,” the company said.
There are three models in the winch range, each with two lifting capacities. They are the Lifter 500/800, designed for mobile applications; the steel Profi Lifter 1200/2000 and the steel Puller 1800/3000.
The drums have a wire rope to drum d/d ratio of 21 and can spool four layers of rope.
The winch can be controlled at the motor or with two optional types of pendant.
The winches run off four bar (65 psi) or six bar (85 psi) compressed air. Profi Lifter and Puller are fitted with an overload protection as standard. A planetary gear integrated into the drum is cooled by exhaust air.
JDN has also extended its Profi TI series of chain hoists down to 250kg. The latest launch of this range includes models with capacities of 250kg, 500kg, 1t and 2t. Over the past two years the company has launched TI air hoists with lifting capacities up to 20t.
These hoists use the same linked motor and brake system found on the others in the TI series.
FEM duty cycles range from M4 (1 Am) up to M5 (2m).
Overload protection is standard in the 1t and 2t models.
The vane motor has vane chambers factory-greased and sealed, so does not require maintenance.
The hoists run off four bar (65 psi) or six bar (85 psi) compressed air. An emergency stop air valve is standard.
The standard version is explosion-proof to Ex II 2 GD IIA T4(X) and Ex II 3 GD IIB T4(X). A model with increased spark protection is also available.
