High capacity vacuum from Anver

A high-capacity, custom-built vacuum lifter for handling 48 x 8ft steel plate and non-ferrous materials has been introduced by Anver Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.The 30,000lb capacity unit features 12 rectangular suction pads and is powered by a 460 3-phase electric vacuum pump.  Anver said the unit "eliminates magnets, grabs and hooks" with an all-welded steel frame, six adjustable cross arms and built-in parking stands.  It can handle steel, stainless steel, alloys, and aluminum.Only rubber touches the load surface and standard features include an oil-free electric vacuum pump, vacuum gauges, check valves, reservoir and manifolds, audio/visual safety indicators, and integrated pendant controls.  Units are priced from $39,995.
