China-based Henan Dejun Industry has completed the delivery of five single girder overhead cranes to Turkmenistan for use in a galvanizing factory.

Each crane has a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes, with two 5-tonne electric wire rope hoists, and spans 19.5m with a lifting height of 12m. Originally, six cranes were planned for the project, but the number was adjusted following a change in the facility’s layout.

The company first received an inquiry from the Turkmenistan client last year for two projects. The initial project involved delivering six single girder overhead cranes to a cable factory, which was fulfilled and is currently operational.

In May, the client proceeded with the second order for the galvanizing factory.

According to Henan Dejun Industry, these cranes are designed to lift long materials like light poles in environments with high humidity and corrosive conditions.

Features include dual hoists that can operate either synchronously or independently, an IP55 motor protection class, H-class motor insulation, stainless steel electric control boxes, galvanized steel wire ropes, and acid-resistant paint.

The power supply system utilises angle iron for enhanced performance under workshop conditions.

Henan Dejun Industry completed production and packaging of the LDE-type cranes within 30 days following drawing approval. The shipment reached Horgos Port within seven days and awaits transshipment to Turkmenistan.

In another development, Henan Dejun Industry also supplied a customised gantry crane to an Albanian steel industry client. This crane features a 30-tonne lifting capacity and a 27m span.

After receiving an on-site factory visit and detailed proposal from Henan Dejun’s technical team, the client signed a contract. Production updates were given weekly, with third-party inspection confirming compliance with European Materials Handling Federation standards.

Post-delivery to Albania’s Port of Durrës, installation and operator training were completed successfully, said Henan Dejun Industry.
