German crane builder Heinzel Foerdertechnik und Stahlbau has installed a double-girder overhead travelling crane and a double-hoist wall-mounted travelling crane in factories recently.
The wall-mounted crane has a cantilever of 9.5m, maximum lifting height of 6m and two SWF Nova NB wire-rope hoists provide a total of 6.4t capacity. The crane can be controlled from a control panel on the ground or by radio remote control. Total crane weight is just under 6t.
The double-girder crane lifts up to 14m, spans 12m and has a 20t capacity electric wire rope hoist. The hoist is also fitted with a frequency control, catwalk and weighing system.
