As the International Organization for Standards is one of the world’s largest standards bodies, Harrington Hoists believes ISO certification will help improve opportunities for the company through maintaining increased efficiencies while minimising risks.

A review of Harrington Hoists’ lifting equipment product lines was conducted, with accreditation awarded last month.

Harrington Hoist’s business development sales manager, Bret Lussow, says the move demonstrates the company’s focus on improving the customer experience through adherence to a globally recognized business quality management system.

He said: “Harrington has always been customer focused and we strive to provide quality on every level so this was a logical step, and it reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality product, service and support.”

Harrington’s achievement brings it into line with parent company, Kito Corporation, which achieved ISO 9001 certification, along with ISO14001 certification, over ten years ago.
