Gunnebo Industries appoints new CEO

Jerker Höglund, who has been appointed as the new CEO of Swedish rigging gear manufacturer Gunnebo Industrier AB, will take over on 9 March. Christer Lenner, the current CEO, will join the company's board of directors.

"During the 24 years (seven of which as CEO) that Christer has worked for Gunnebo Industrier, the group has undergone major changes, recently achieving rapid growth and solid profitability," said chairman of the board Jörgen Centerman.

Höglund, 39, is currently CEO of Dellner Couplers, and has also been a site manager at ABB Automation Technologies AB and key account manager at Allgon Mobile Communications. He has a master of engineering degree from Chalmers University of Technology and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. He was born in 1970.
