The G-Jib integrates Gorbel’s G-Force intelligent lifting device, which features an industrial processor controlled servo drive system, into an enclosed track work station jib crane.

The actuator of the G-Force remains in a fixed position near the vertical truss of the crane, removing the deadweight that comes with moving a hoist along the rail and creating, ‘an easier to move alternative to the traditional work station jib crane/chain hoist combo’, Gorbel said.

The G-Jib has a capacity ranging from 330-660lbs, spans 6-16ft, has an under hook height of 6-10ft, and can be free standing or wall/column mounted.

Gorbel said the G-Jib maximizes productivity and reduces the risk of injury to the operator. The work station jib crane is built using a cold-formed, high-strength enclosed track design, which is aimed at keeping rolling surfaces clean.

G-Jib moves with the motion of the operator, going as slow or as fast as they choose. This, Gorbel said, makes it ideal for applications where loads need to be moved at high speeds at points, and with slower, more precise movements at others.

The G-Jib can also be equipped with Float Mode, which allows operators to precisely move the load by applying a small amount of force.
