Garage Equipment Direct has completed the installation of an Ascenta 2P4000CF two-post hoist at a client’s site, working in partnership with Workshop Maintenance Services.
The installed hoist features a 4t lifting capacity and offers a clear floor design, which allows unrestricted access beneath vehicles for service operations such as gearbox work.
The absence of a base plate enables users to manoeuvre equipment including transmission jacks and oil drainers under the vehicle during maintenance.

The Ascenta 2P4000CF hoist includes direct drive operation, a single point lock release, and automatic arm restraints intended to streamline usability and facilitate maintenance.
Its adjustable height function provides two selectable settings, from 3,621mm to 3,821mm, which assists with fitting the hoist into spaces where ceiling height may be limited.
