Engineered Material Handling (EMH), has launched its EG Series Hoist, providing next generation enhanced features and benefits to its E Series Hoist.

With the new EG Series Hoist, trolley adjustment is easier with integrated and robust staging that stays tightly together during adjustment.

The EG Series Hoist is designed to have a more spacious enclosure to accommodate much larger control panels and variable frequency drives. It will have capacities of 3, 5, 7.5 and 10 metric tons, and 20, 33, 50 and 65-foot lifts.

The 5 ton and 20-foot lift were rolled out first. EG Series Hoists are currently available in monorail and double-girder models, providing a price and performance ratio that compares favourably with the best in the industry today.

The EG Series Hoist makes it easier to adjust trolleys to a variety of flange widths and beam types. A longer adjustment tube maintains better hoist integrity and tighter staging during adjustment, and during opening and closing. A new and more reliable hexagonal drive shaft enhances adjustment and reduces the number of parts involved. An improved limit switch (upper/lower) provides better repeatability during raising and lowering and a weight-operated limit is provided as standard.

It also offers manufacturing advantages and efficiencies. Instead of having various lengths of dead end supports, there is now just one size that fits all three lift ranges, 20, 33 and 50-feet.

EMH is headquartered in Valley City, Ohio, designs, sells and manufactures a complete line of overhead material handling equipment for loads from 25 lbs. to 300 tons, serving various industries with Bridge Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes, Self-Standing Cranes, Workstation Cranes, and Crane Kits, plus custom and standard Wire Rope Hoists and End Trucks. EMH is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
