EMACS Electrical and Mechanical Repairs, based in Australia, is currently installing two new overhead cranes at its Yatala workshop in Queensland.
The cranes, each with a capacity of 25 tonnes, are expected to enhance the facility’s lifting capabilities, increase operational efficiency, and enable the handling of larger and more complex projects.
The company stated that this investment demonstrates its commitment to improving safety measures, expanding capacity, and supporting its growing client base. The installation process is being coordinated by EMACS’s project team and partners to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
EMACS provides comprehensive services for rotating machinery overhauls, including electric motor repairs, pump repairs, hazardous area motor repairs, fan repairs, generator repairs, exciter repairs, and gearbox repairs. The company’s services also cover installations, shutdowns, and field service work.
With two service centres in Queensland, including the Yatala location approximately 30 minutes south of Brisbane, EMACS is strategically positioned to serve mining and industrial clients across Queensland and extends its services to areas such as Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
The company emphasises its ability to conduct urgent repairs within 24 hours to minimise business disruptions caused by equipment failures.
