Direct Hoist has launched the Electroelsa H05, a new construction hoist designed to enhance efficiency and safety on building sites. The new lifting solution utilises a rack and pinion system suited for both goods and personnel transportation, accommodating diverse site requirements and restrictions.

The company announced the launch in a LinkedIn post.

The Electroelsa H05 has a carrying capacity of 500kg and a maximum operational height of 160m. It can transport either goods or up to two passengers, providing flexibility for various construction needs. The hoist is designed for quick and secure assembly directly from within the cage, ensuring it is fully enclosed once set up.

“Goods and personnel hoists with rack and pinion system for material and personnel lifting, with additional safety devices and remote fault finding as well as great versatility of components to suit any building site access restrictions and requirement,” the company said in the post.

Key features of the Electroelsa H05 include an independent overspeed device (OSD) and safety systems to prevent overloading, enhancing operational safety. The hoist also incorporates remote fault-finding diagnostics, which help minimise downtime by swiftly identifying and resolving issues.

Ideal for large building projects, the Electroelsa H05 is adaptable to any site, including those with restricted spaces. It can be installed in demolished stairwells or areas designated for permanent elevators. Additionally, its design reduces transportation costs and facilitates easy relocation using forklifts or cranes.

The hoist is intended to meet the evolving demands of the construction industry, offering a reliable and efficient solution for lifting needs on diverse sites.
