DGCrane, a crane manufacturer based in China, has successfully exported a 2.5-ton single girder overhead crane and a 0.5-ton jib crane to a glass production company in Serbia.

The Serbian customer first contacted DGCrane in November 2024, and after six months of discussions, decided to purchase the cranes to aid in lifting glass.

The 2.5-ton single girder overhead crane features a span of 9m and a lifting height of 6m.

It is equipped with an NR-type electric wire rope hoist, offering a lifting speed of 5.0/0.8 m/min.

The crane’s traversing speed ranges from 2 to 20 m/min, and its travelling speed ranges from 3 to 30m/min. The power supply is set at 380V 50Hz 3Ph.

The 0.5-ton jib crane comes with a 5m arm and a lifting height of 4m.

Similar to the overhead crane, it uses an NR-type electric wire rope hoist with a lifting speed of 5.0/0.8 m/min and a traversing speed of 2 to 20m/min.

It also operates on a 380V 50Hz 3Ph power supply.

DGCrane, in a LinkedIn post, said: “The customer, who is engaged in glass production and sales in Serbia, contacted us for the first time in November 2024 to explore importing products from China.

“After half a year of communication, he decided to purchase a single girder overhead crane and a jib crane for lifting glass from us.”

Recently, DGCrane delivered 5-ton electric single-girder overhead crane kits to Kyrgyzstan.

The order, confirmed in March 2024, included an electric wire rope hoist, a span of 11 m, and a lifting height of 6m.

DGCrane faced challenges such as a tight delivery schedule and high packaging standards for the Kyrgyzstan project.

The Chinese crane maker optimised production planning to complete the project in 20 days.

It has packed end beams on pallets, secured the electric hoist and control box in plywood crates, and sealed electrical accessories with waterproof fabric to prevent transit damage.
