China-based overhead crane manufacturer DGCrane has successfully delivered five sets of LDE-type single-girder overhead cranes for use in a galvanising factory in Turkmenistan.
The cranes are designed to handle long materials in high-humidity and corrosive environments, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.
The project in Turkmenistan initially required six cranes, but adjustments to the layout plan led to a final order of five overhead cranes.
Each crane features a lifting capacity of 10 tons (5 tons + 5 tons), a span of 19.5m and a lifting height of 12m.
The design incorporates two 5-ton electric wire rope hoists on the same span, allowing synchronous or independent operation to suit various lifting requirements.
Key specifications include a motor protection class of IP55, motor insulation class H, and an IP55-rated stainless steel electric control box.
The cranes are equipped with galvanised steel wire ropes and acid-resistant paint to withstand the harsh conditions of the galvanising workshop.
The long-travel power supply system utilises angle iron for durability.
The production and packaging of the cranes and accessories were completed within 30 days following the approval of the final drawings.
The shipment was dispatched to Horgos Port within seven days and is now ready for transhipment to Turkmenistan.
The current delivery follows a successful previous project where DGCrane supplied six single-girder overhead cranes to a cable factory in Turkmenistan.
Recently, DGCrane has exported a 3-ton overhead crane with a complete steel structure and Euro-type wire rope electric hoist to Kenya.
DGCrane recommended its three-ton HD European-type single girder overhead crane, which aligns with the A5 duty group classification.
The crane, which features a lifting height of five metres and a span length of 9.2m, is suitable for the customer’s operational needs and environment.
It offers a main lifting speed of 5/0.8 metres per minute and a crane travelling speed of three to 30 metres per minute.
