Habert was previously head of marketing and sales of the parts and service business segment of Alfa Laval AB, an international manufacturer of centrifuges, heat transfer systems, pumps and valves, based in Lund, Sweden.

He has also held various management positions in the German sales organisation of the ALFA LAVAL Group, among others as head of the service and spare parts business segment.
Habert succeeds Thomas Wagner (57), who will leave the company at his own request at the end of this year. He will remain available in a consulting capacity.
